All our materials are 100% natural, meaning if your dog digests the small hemp fibres, they can be broken down in the gut. We found hemp rope as a safer choice than synthetic rope, which cannot be broken down, causing a risk of gastrointestinal tract blockage.

Please note that the hemp rope has a distinctive earthy scent, usually described as hay, upon arrival (another reason as to why your dog may prefer this toy). This aroma weakens overtime, sometimes disappearing after a few months, but it is more likely to develop into a more pleasant smell. Do not worry about this aroma as it only indicates how it’s natural.
