Adding turmeric to your dog's diet can improve arthritis in dogs, promote skin condition, improve digestion and specifically improve their inflammatory response

Benefits of turmeric:

* reduce inflammation
* improves digestion
* prevents cancer
* improves cognitive function
* promotes healthy skin and coat
* maintain healthy cartilage and connective issues
* helps maintain a normal, healthy inflammatory response
* fights free radicals

Dogs’ bodies produce free radicals, which are unstable atoms that can cause damage to cells, limiting healthy tissue function.
When dogs are younger, their bodies are able to fight off these atoms because of their natural antioxidant system.
However, as they age, dog’s systems slow down, making their joints susceptible to tissue damage from free radicals.
To help this, turmeric acts as an antioxidant that aids your dog’s body to protect their joints.

however

* it's possible to overdo the turmeric with your dog. Some side effects include: upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea, bruising, iron deficiency, and gallbladder issues. The best way to avoid these side effects we recommend a smaller dosage at the start, and then gradually building up the dosage volume to the recommended amount.

FEEDING GUIDELINES

Sprinkle onto your dog’s food, or combine with other ingredients, such as plain yoghurt or dog friendly peanut butter, as a nutritious treat.
The recommended dose of turmeric for dogs is 15mg–20mg per pound of body weight per day, or more simply put, 1/8 to 1/4 tsp per day for every 10 pounds of body weight. This is a rough starting point, but you can increase the amount from there, up to about a Tbsp for larger dogs.

These feeding guidelines are intended only as a guide and you should adjust the recommended amount to suit your dog's needs.
Introduce to your dog’s diet gradually, over a period of two weeks to avoid any digestive upset in dogs occurring. If you notice any adverse effects in your dog during this transition cease using this product immediately and consult your veterinarian.
